Our newly built abode, Hotel Gangchen Tabo, is a TEN Room scenic and serene hotel located away from the hustle bustle of the village. However, it is just a mile away from the well known 1028 year old Tabo Mud Monastery as well as meditation caves that are spread over a short mountain top. The hotel stands on the bank of a snow melt rivulet, that further up, joins the Spiti river and is sorrounded by young orchards of Apple. Hotel Gangchen Tabo comprises beautifully planned spacious rooms, most overlooking the gray mountain ranges of a typical Cold desert interspersed with tiny fields of Barley n Sweet Peas.

The hotel prides of TEN rooms of which Six rooms are SUPER DELUXE and the balance DELUXE. An in-situ restaurant, BRIDGE VIEW, serves Indian, Chinese & Continental cuisine.

Rooms are of mud walls to keep warm in a Cold desert but modern in facilities & comfort for a relaxed experience.

SIX Super Deluxe Rooms boast of a private balcony, projecting to a typical vista of barren steep mountain range intermingling with tiny fields of grains, vegetables and orchards of Apple.

Rooms are functionally n tastefully furnished for utmost comfort. Each room has attached washroom fitted with modern accessories including electric geysers supported ,as stand-by, by solar heating system, thus assuring running hot & Cold water.

Rooms are equipped with electric kettle and tea tray as well as electric blankets.

Large rooms on the ground floor with wide windows. Breathtaking view of the desert mountain range and streaming snowmelt rivulets. Rooms are equally well furnished with wooden custom made furniture and comfortable mattress with electric blankets.

RESTAURANT ' BRIDGE VIEW'

Located on the ground floor with large windows, projecting an impressive view of the massive Tabo bridge. The restaurant is furnished functionally with shesham wood and has an extension in the patio upstairs.

Restaurant Bridge view caters to both in-house as well as non- resident guests serving Indian, Chinese, Continental and Local cuisines.
